Abstract


Latar belakang: Program KB (Keluarga Berencana) adalah bagian yang terpadu (integral) dalam program pembangunan nasional dan bertujuan untuk ikut serta menciptakan kesejahteraan penduduk Indonesia, untuk mencapai keseimbangan yang baik. Intra Uterine Device (IUD) merupakan alat kontrasepsi yang paling aman dalam metode pengendalian kelahiran, dan tahan lama. Tujuan penelitian: Mengetahui hubungan pendidikan terhadap pemilihan alat kontrasepsi Intra Uterine Device (IUD) pada pasangan usia subur di Puskesmas Sleman Yogyakarta. Metode: Penelitian kuantitatif dengan survey analitik ini menggukanan pendekatan cross sectional dengan jumlah responden 97 akseptor KB. Hasil: Analisis data menggunakan chi-squre dengan nilai p-value menunjukan hasil 0,008, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa p-values 0,008 < 0,05 dan terdapat hubungan pendidikan dengan pemilihan alat kontrasepsi Intra Uterine Device (IUD). Simpulan: Berdasarkan analisis Health Technology Assesment (HTA), dapat direncanakan kelas keluarga berencana khusus pasangan usia subur, calon pengantin, serta pasangan beresiko agar dapat memahami tujuan dan manfaat penggunaan alat kontrasepsi. Sehingga dapat memilih alat kontrasepsi yang tepat.
